What information goes on a concert ticket?
A concert ticket typically shows: the artist or band name, event name, venue name and address, date and door time (and show time if different), ticket type (General Admission, Reserved, VIP), ticket number, and price paid. A tear-off stub with the ticket number makes door scanning simpler.
Can I make a concert ticket for a small venue or house show?
Yes — our template is a great fit for small and mid-size events. Local venues, house concerts, school auditorium shows, and bar performances all use simple printed tickets for admission. Download the PDF, print on cardstock, and score the stub fold with a ruler.
How do I show different ticket tiers (GA vs VIP) on the same template?
Print one set with 'General Admission' in the ticket type field, and a second set with 'VIP' (or 'Reserved'). Use different colors or paper stock to visually distinguish tiers at the door. Our editor lets you make both versions from the same template in minutes.
Do I need a barcode or QR code on a concert ticket?
Not for small events — a sequential ticket number and a name list is sufficient. For larger concerts where you want scan-on-entry, you would need a ticketing platform that generates scannable QR codes. Our template can hold a QR code image if you generate one externally and upload it to the image zone.
